This notice is for MaksIT.ClusterConsole (Cluster Console), a desktop Kubernetes GUI. It is the privacy policy URL for the Microsoft Store listing.

Data the app processes

The app runs on your device. Typical data:

• kubeconfig and credentials you already store for kubectl (files, tokens, certificates).
• Kubernetes API data from clusters you add (workloads, logs, events, YAML, metrics if the metrics API is available).
• Local UI state (filters, current context) in the application data folder.
• Optional Chat: prompts and cluster snippets sent only to Ollama on localhost, not to a MaksIT or third-party cloud AI.

This can include personal data if your cluster objects or logs contain names, emails, or similar. MaksIT does not see that content.

What we do not collect

Cluster Console does not create a MaksIT account, does not send telemetry, crash dumps, or kubeconfig to MaksIT servers, and does not include advertising SDKs.

Why (legal bases)

Processing on your device is under your control. You use the app to manage clusters you are allowed to access (contract / your instructions, Art. 6(1)(b) where you are the controller of that cluster data). MaksIT is not the controller of your cluster contents.

If you contact us for support, we process the message under Art. 6(1)(b) or (f).

Connections

The app connects to Kubernetes API servers you configure (and optional local Ollama). Those endpoints are not MaksIT. Microsoft Store may apply its own update and licensing processing under Microsoft’s terms.

Retention

Data remains until you delete the app data, kubeconfig, or cluster resources. MaksIT keeps no copy.

Sharing

No sharing with MaksIT. Cluster operators, cloud providers, or identity plugins you configure are independent.

Your rights

For data on your device, use the app and file system (delete config, uninstall). For data MaksIT might hold from an email you sent, contact privacy@maks-it.com. Complaint: Italian Data Protection Authority.
